Upon booking with Sarah's Dog Training, you agree to having read, understood and accepting our terms and conditions. On completion of the booking process and acceptance of our terms and conditions, your contract with Sarah's Dog Training will begin.
 

      Group Classes & 121s

​

• Please keep your dog on lead at all times unless directed otherwise by Sarah's Dog Training.
   

• Please keep a respectable 6 foot distance from other dogs unless you know the other dog is friendly and you have previously met. Please bear in mind there may be dogs with hidden behavioural issues that need space.
   

• Full-choke collars, prong collars, shock collars and anti-bark devices will not be allowed in class under the discretion of Sarah Stonehouse of Sarah's Dog Training. We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you do not comply. We strongly recommend against these devices and encourage conversation about more ethical and appropriate equipment going forward.
   

• Muzzles are welcome and encouraged if your dog needs to wear one. This can be removed upon further discussion if deemed appropriate. Please ensure your dog's muzzle has adequate pant room, particularly in warm weather.
   

• You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog/s should they go to the toilet and are responsible for all the behaviour and actions of your dog/s. Please follow all instructions at all times, including all safety instructions and proper use of dog training equipment.
   

• Bitches in season may be welcome but please consult with us first before bringing them as it may be inappropriate.
   

• You as the client are responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred. We are not liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst undergoing training with Sarah's Dog Training. We cannot be held responsible and all fees must be paid by you, the owner, if required.
   

• Although we hold Public Liability insurance, it is highly recommended you insure your dog. Sarah's Dog Training reserves the right to refuse a booking for any animal which is not insured.
   

• If I as Sarah's Dog Training sole trainer and behaviourist fall ill or am unable to carry out my usual duties, no immediate replacement is available and your session will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
   

• All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during training sessions. Children are not allowed to handle the lead due to insurance reasons.
   

• By choosing to attend, you agree to take full responsibility for your own safety, the safety of all parties accompanying you and the safety of your dog. We accept no responsibility for any damage to, theft of, or from your vehicle. Please do not leave valuables in your car.
   

• Any owner wishing to accompany Sarah's Dog Training whilst an animal is being transported accepts that they do so at their own risk and that Sarah's Dog Training does not accept any liability for any accident, injury or delay incurred during transportation.
  
  Group Classes - Payments & Refunds
   

• For any classes booked, the charge is required upfront to reserve your space. If payment has not been received via the booking system or BACS, your space will not be held.
   

• Payment is offered in both a 4 week block format, 6 week subscription and pay as you go format. The block booking format is strictly consecutive.
   

• If you fail to attend any training classes that you have paid for, the full fee is retained by Sarah's Dog Training. Class fees do not roll over for missed sessions. These are forfeited by you, the participant. No refunds are offered.
  
  Training and Behaviour 121s - Payments & Refunds
   

• For any and all services booked, the full charge is required either as a whole amount upfront, or as part of an automated payment plan via my online booking system. You agree to continue with the payment plan in full until the total sum of money has been received by Sarah Stonehouse of Sarah's Dog Training.
   

• You are able to reschedule all and any 121 training and behaviour sessions up to 48 hours before commencement at no charge.
   

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of your session for any reason will result in the full session fee being forfeited. No refunds will be given.
   

• After the government backed 14 day cooling off period, there is no right to a refund. If you are within your 14 day period, you will be entitled to a refund minus a £35 admin fee unless you have already used the service.
   

• By choosing a payment plan booking, you agree to fulfil your obligation to commit to the full payment plan until the full fee has been received.
   

• All 121 packages must be used within 8 months of booking. Any sessions not used after this period will be forfeited.
  
  Training Walks & Dog Walking
   

• The client must provide Sarah's Dog Training with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency (pet guardian). If the contact is not available, we reserve the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interests of the animal.
   

• Sarah's Dog Training will apply personal judgement and cut short a walk if necessary, because of extreme weather conditions (ie, heat, thunder storms) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.
   

• Sarah's Dog Training will make adequate steps to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, however we cannot be held responsible for burglaries, or any accidents caused by your pet(s).
  
  Photos & Social Media
   

• You hereby agree, irrevocably and for no royalties or other compensation, to all and any use by Sarah Stonehouse and/or Sarah's Dog Training of any photos, videos or audio recordings taken during training sessions for the purpose of marketing on our company website, social media pages or for the purpose of demonstration videos, tutorials or other educational or informational material as may be produced and marketed from time to time. You understand that such material may be edited and used in whole or in part and displayed on the internet or made public for the purpose of promoting Sarah's Dog Training.
